How to apply Cadence Crackle Paints?

Crocodile Crackle
A two step coloured crackle medium that dries clear, making it ideal for creating a cracked porcelain or aged,î Crocodileì crackled eect . Dierent colors options are available. Crackle eect can be controlled by the thickness of application. For bigger crackles two layer application is recommended. It is recommended to use the dry brush horizontally. Apply one coats of basecoat (Step 1) evenly to surface and allow to dry ( it is dry when it becomes transparent) apply one coat of Step 2 evenly. Finish with Cadence Sprey Varnish. Non toxic. Crackle Varnish
A two step water based crackle varnish that dries clear, making it ideal for creating a cracked porcelain or aged, crackled eect over painted decorative designs or plain basecoated surfaces. It is great for acrylic and picture crackling techniques. It is recommended to use the dry brush horizontally for evenly distribution. Apply two coats of basecoat (Step 1) evenly to surface and allow to dry apply one coat of Step 2 evenly. Fine cracks will appear on drying. Enchance the cracks by rubbing in artists oil paint. Wipe o excess oil, allow to dry for 24 hours seal with solvent based varnish. The product itself is transparent and better for bigger crackles. Non toxic. Certifi ed by EN 71 & CE.

Mosaic & Eggs Crackle
A two step water based crackle medium that is great for mosaic look for smaller crackles. It is great for acrylic and picture crackling techniques. The product itself is transparent. Apply one coat of basecoat (Step 1) evenly to surface and allow to dry apply one coat of Step 2 evenly. Fine cracks will appear on drying (12 16 hours). Enhance the cracks by rubbing in Cadence Antiquing or other water based products allow to dry 24 hours, seal with water based varnish. Non toxic. Certifi ed by EN 71 & CE.

Crackle Glaze
Crackle glaze provides an aged or modern crackled eect in one easy step. It is easier to use and less expensive than other twostep crackle products. You can antique with one step for an old world eect or color wash with it for a newer, trendier look. One Stepí s crackle eect can be controlled by the thickness of application. It dries best in 24 hours. Paint the acrylic coats in the same direction and crackling glaze in the opposite direction for best result. For fi nishing sprey varnish is recommended. Non toxic. Transparent Spider Crackle
A twostep water based crackle medium for spider web look. Different colors options are available for bigger crackles two layer application of Step 1 is recommended. Apply one coat of basecoat (Step 1) evenly to surface and allow to dry( until it becomes transparent ) than apply one coat of Step 2 evenly. Can be finished with waterbased varnish. Non toxic.
