Hi friends!
Welcome back to the Renault 5 GT Turbo engine rebuild series! In the last episode, we completely disassembled the engine from a DAF 55. Now, it’s time to start reassembling the short block!
In this video, I install the crankshaft, fit brand-new cylinder sleeves, and insert fresh pistons to bring this legendary turbocharged engine back to life.
Once the bottom end is fully built, I take some time to repaint a few parts, giving them a fresh new look before they’re installed in the next phase.
