The Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd. Is a state Transport Undertaking of the state of Goa. It was established in the year 1980.
Corporation has one of the major depot at Margao. The Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd. has both Intratstate and intercity bus services to Maharashtra and Karnataka.
The Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd. operates shuttle services known as point to point buses connecting major commercial towns like Panaji, Margao, Vasco, Mapusa, Ponda, Curchorem, Sanqelim etc.
KTC has a fleet of 565 buses, made by companies such as Tata, Ashok Leyland, Eicher Motors, Corona, Volvo, Mercedes Benz.
KTC also runs fifty electric buses assembled by Olectra (MEIL), from June 2021. Twenty electric buses were delivered in December 2021.
Ali accompanied me in visiting Margao Bus Depot. Apart from Kadamba buses, we also saw private buses operating within and nearby places to Margao. We also saw buses going to Mumbai & Pune by some private operators.
