The Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa, in collaboration with the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), organised a sensitisation workshop on the rebased GDP and revised CPI methodology. These revised indicators were highlighted as critical for informed policy formulation, effective resource allocation, and the implementation of programmes that directly impact the Nigerian economy.
The workshop brought together Economists, Economic Researchers, Financial Experts, Statisticians, and Policymakers to engage in discussions on Nigeria’s rebased GDP and CPI methodology.
