Apes of Wrath is a 1959 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies animated short directed by Friz Freleng. In this cartoon, an inebriated stork loses a baby gorilla he was supposed to deliver. To rectify his mistake, he knocks out Bugs Bunny, dresses him as the baby, and delivers him to the gorilla parents. Mama Gorilla is delighted with her new "baby," but Elvis, the father, is less enthusiastic. The short humorously explores Bugs' attempts to adapt to his new role amidst the gorilla family's dynamics. Notably, this cartoon is a remake of the 1948 short Gorilla My Dreams.
