Ra

Profile: Norwegian goa trance and ambient - downtempo project from Oslo, Norway.


Founded in 1994, originally as duo. In 1998 Lars left the group, which became Christer's solo project until late 2006, when Lars joined the group again.

In 1998 RA was signed with Blue Moon Productions UK and the first single Azure Child was released. In 1999 and 2000 RA was working with Blue Moon Thailand and collaborated with Charlie Clarke which contributed on the album "To Sirius". The album was first released in Thailand in 2000 and later re-released world wide in 2001 by the German label Velvet/GTN.

RA remained primarily a solo project by Christer Borge-Lunde until late 2006 when Lars W. Lind and Christer Borge-Lunde decided to continue working with RA together.

RA was finally back to the way it was intended from the very beginning, both musically and spiritually.

The original sound of the band was created by Lars and Christer, and now you can hear the newer developed RA sound on the new album "9th" released on Suntrip records. RA is also on the Sundrops compilation out November 2008, and on the Air compilation from Altar records, February 2009.
