🐍Are Cable Lifters Snake Oil? ViaBlue Cable Elevators

In this video, I start with my New Year's resolution to tackle more controversial topics... but not in the typical polarizing fashion and extremes that litter the forums.

Cable elevators are a controversial tweak that didn't interest me in the least for almost 40 years in the hobby. However, as systems become more complex and cabling becomes an issue, I started to think about the value of cable elevators on both performance and aesthetic metrics.

Most of the cable elevators I've seen didn't interest me, until I saw the ones created by Viablue back at the Munich HiFi Show 2023. These piqued my interest enough to try them and this video tries to give a comprehensive analysis of all the nuances at play and where/when such a tweak could be a positive addition for you...or not.
