DG ISPR’s Response to Hamid Mir’s Question | Hamid Mir in Big Trouble | Samaa TV

DG ISPR held a comprehensive press conference highlighting Pakistan’s ongoing efforts in the fight against terrorism. He emphasized that the war on terrorism is a battle for the entire nation and clarified that extremist groups like Khawarij and Fitna-e-Hindustan have no connection with Islam, Pakistan, or Balochistan. The DG shared that Pakistan conducted 75,175 counter-terrorism operations last year, including 14,658 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 58,778 in Balochistan, along with 1,739 operations across other regions, resulting in 2,597 terrorists eliminated.

He noted 5,397 terrorist incidents nationwide, with 1,235 martyrs sacrificing their lives in the line of duty. DG ISPR stressed that the National Action Plan remains vital and that all political parties are in agreement on its implementation. He also highlighted the misuse of Afghan territory by terrorist groups, the role of India in funding and supporting terrorism, and the importance of counter-terrorism efforts in protecting Pakistan’s security.
