Bolcher emerged as a more playful and relaxed side-project of Rawtekk. It was born through a collaboration with close friend Marc Holste, a Minimal Techno DJ of Danish descent, who not only contributed to the project but also devised its name, 'Bolcher' meaning 'candies' in Danish. The song titles were drawn from a Danish train schedule with each named after a station.
