We leave Oamaru on State Highway 1 before turning onto SH 83 up the Waitaki Valley .We then make a short detour to Elephant Rocks.
This is a small part of out eight week road trip of both Islands of Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Then over the Cook Strait to Wellington,Whanganui,Oakura,Taupo,Napier,Wairoa,Gisborne,Tolaga Bay,Hicks Bay,Cape Runaway,Waihau Bay,Ohope,Waihi Beach,Red Beach,Tutukaka,Pahi,Piha & Clarks Beach.
And lots of places in between.
