Turkey’s interior minister says investigators have recovered the black box and cockpit voice recorder from the private jet carrying Libya’s chief of staff that crashed near Ankara. The Dassault Falcon 50 aircraft reported an electrical failure and requested an emergency landing shortly after taking off from Ankara en route to Tripoli.
Eight people, including three crew members, were killed in the crash. A delegation of relatives has arrived in Ankara for identification of the victims, while Turkish authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
