This is another area where my all-time favorite (Dr. Death) and my Uncle's all-time favorite (Don Muraco) intersect. Both have a similar build/style, persona, and played a kabuki gimmick with a red suit. Don Muraco looks just like Dr. Death in this match. Link to the full match, my downloader sucks with Nicovideo:

This is such a weird coincidence and the gimmicks errily, errily similar. Both our childhood heroes doing exactly the same thing. Finding this seriously surprised me. I really do wonder if this inspired Doc's Kabuki gimmick? This is a very fascinating video.
Don Muraco was "Aka Oni" from August 1994 to December 1994 in the WAR promotion, before retiring right after this. Doc only did the Kabuki gimmick in February 1999 for a Memphis indy show, and once in the WWF to create mystery on "Who attacked Bart Gunn?", and then the next Raw the attacker revealed to be Dr. Death.
Fun fact 1: This match was exactly a day after the PS1 came out. Ridge Racer and King's Field (one of the first full 3D-polygonal 1st person games, looks like Quake 1 but pixelated) were the major launch games in Japan. Doom would have had its 1st anniversary.
Fun fact 2: My Conner hard drive for my retro "Attittude Era" gaming PC that I casually play has a manufacturing date of December 1994, when this match was going on. My drive model was made between September 1993 to August 1995, and was meant for DOS only at 810 mb only, low-end models being around 200~400 mb.
However, I got it running Windows 98 and games like Kiss Psycho Circus, Quake 2 & 3, Blood 2: The Chosen, Shadowman, Max Payne, etc. perfectly after getting rid of the DOS boot sectors. My comptuer almost didn't recognize the drive because of its DOS boot.
