Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions - ANTIQUITY, New Song, 2017

Bonus 4th song that comes with the 10" vinyl release of the e.p. SON OF A LADY, released Sept. 15, 2017. This audio file appears to be taken from vinyl as a few pops, crackles, and scratches are audible. The sound's a departure from the quieter. more subdued sound of the rest of the e.p. and may be the closest thing yet to "Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions meets My Bloody Valentine" (Colm Ó Cíosóig's other band).

The e.p. sleeve says the song was written by Hope, Dave Brennan, & Colm. Dave is a member of both Dirt Blue Gene and Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions. Dave Brennan reportedly plays guitar on this song. A post at HS&TWI's official Facebook page says "Antiquity" was recorded at Santo Studio (Oakland, CA).

Such a good song deserves to be heard in better audio quality than youtube's mediocre 128 kbps bit rate*, don't you think? So, do support the band and go buy the 10" vinyl version of the e.p. which also comes with a download card for high quality digital versions of the four songs. The 10" vinyl is a limited edition, so you'll also be acquiring a nice collector's item. Lots of record retailers are selling it, I believe.
*[Btw, "HD" on yt videos refers to image quality, NOT audio quality. Youtube sticks most uploads with yt's default low audio quality bit rate of 128 kbps which is half iTune's 256 bit rate, and much less than Spotify's premium audio quality 320 kbps streaming rate].
