As Memorial Day comes to an end, at least eight people are recovering from being shot, with one man fighting for his life and another dead.
The three days of violence began Friday near the Lexington Market, when five people were shot at Eutaw Street and Saratoga Street.
It happened in the middle of the afternoon, and just feet away from a marked police car.
