TL:DW - I like both services for different reasons. To me, it all comes down to how much content you plan to consume. If you're a big-time reader than go for Scribd or if you want to build a library and read a book every 6-8 weeks it would make more sense to go with Audible.

I also like the fact I have the option to read snapshots and in many case listen or read a book on Scribd where Audible is purely audio based.
