Flasher Deluxe by Jeremy Shafer

[High Intermediate] This is a tutorial for how to fold the the original Flasher Deluxe, a model I designed in 1995 but never published in any books. The Flasher Deluxe is related to the Flasher Supreme. How? It's really just a sunken Flasher Supreme, i.e. if you sink along the entire spiral mountain fold of the Flasher Supreme you get the Flasher Deluxe. But I designed it the other way around. I first discovered the Flasher deluxe pattern and then reverse sunk one of the paths to arrive at the Flasher Supreme, which I liked even better because it's iso-area (same basic pattern on both sides). However, I think the Flasher Deluxe might look more intricate to an audience because it has two spiral arms instead of just one.

This model was published in the Spring 1995 BARF Newsletter. All the BARF Newsletters can still be ordered by mail by going to http://www.barf.cc/BARF_Newsletter/Co... and opening and printing the "PDF 1993-2000" or "PDF 2001-2011." and following the instructions on the form (circle the ones you want to order). Many of the models from 2001-2011 remain unpublished, but I do intend to eventually publish all of them in book form (well, at least the models I designed).
