Interview with Boxing Champ Roy Jones Jr and Ken Thomson on The Ed Bernstein Show

Boxing began as an Olympic game in the B.C. ages of ancient Greece, and today, millions of viewers across the world sit at the edge of their seats, captivated by the sport. One person that has taken interest is Las Vegas personal injury lawyer, Ed Bernstein.

Mr. Bernstein hosts the longest-running television show in Nevada, The Ed Bernstein Show, and will be interviewing boxing champ Roy Jones Jr. this Sunday, along with sportscaster Ken Thomson.

One of the topics they will be discussing will be the recent boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. This fight pulled in an estimated 3 million Pay-Per-View purchases, breaking the record set by Mayweather vs. Oscar De La Hoya in 2007 (which was 2.5 million buys). The two competitors also are expected to share approximately $300 million that was gained from the fight, making it the most profitable match in boxing history.

Roy Jones Jr. is a world champion of boxing, and was once referred to as “the greatest fighter of my time” by Hall-of-Famer Mike McCallum (who Jones Jr. defeated in 1996). In 2003, he became the first professional middleweight fighter to win a heavyweight title in 106 years.

Ken Thomson is also highly respected in the sports industry as a knowledgeable radio host and sportscaster. Ken has shared action-packed play-by-plays and his love for various sports with America for over 25 years. Currently, he hosts Sports X Radio, which is based in Las Vegas.
