Public Programs Coordinator Connor Kilian discusses artworks by Twins Seven-Seven on view in "Black Orpheus: Jacob Lawrence and the Mbari Club."
Born in 1944, Twins Seven-Seven is considered one of the most important artists from the Osogbo school in Nigeria. He painted, drew, sculpted, and designed textiles and metalwork, as well as being an accomplished musician and dancer.
"Black Orpheus: Jacob Lawrence and the Mbari Club" is on view through May 7.
