~ 1971 REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM ARMED FORCES PARADE HELL MARCH DESCRIPTION:
On June 19th, 1971, to demonstrate the progress of the Republic of Vietnam, in taking over the Vietnam War, the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces organised a large military parade in the centre of the nation's capital, Saigon. It encompassed all of the major military academies, formations, Corps, and paramilitaries of South Vietnam. This included the Đà Lạt Academy, Thủ Đức Academy, Quang Trung Training Centre, Air Force and Naval Training Centres, the 81st Airborne Rangers, Rangers, Marines, Airborne, Regional/Popular Forces, I Corps, II Corps, III Corps, IV Corps, Armour, Artillery, and Air Force of South Vietnam. All of these organizations, as well as many more less well known organizations, demonstrated a discipline honed fighting an almost 20-year long, constant, gruelling war.
In addition to the forces of South Vietnam, military personnel from various Allied Countries: the United States of America, the Republic of Korea, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the Commonwealth of Australia also joined, to show their joint effort in fighting for a free Southeast Asia.
