Studio Lighting for Product & Bedroom Sets – Profoto D2, V-Flats, and Light Progression Breakdown

Ever wondered how photographers create stunning bedroom scenes? In this behind-the-scenes video, I walk through a full studio lighting setup across two scenes: a product showcase and a styled bedroom photo set. Both were built in a photo studio using Profoto D2 strobes, large V-flats, and softboxes.

The video covers how I approach lighting progression — starting with a key light and building the scene step-by-step for depth, realism, and control. I explain how each modifier adds or subtracts from the final look and how light interacts differently with sets, furniture, and textiles.

Lighting Gear & Modifiers:
Profoto D2 strobes (all lights)
V-Flats for bounce fill and shadow control
2.5x3.5’ softbox for soft key fill
Light layering to simulate sunlight and room fill
