One Piece | Opening 1 (Italian) Lyrics & Translation

Yes! After eons of inactivity, I finally manage to make videos again! I'm really sorry for having been absent. My computer died a couple of months ago, and since then, I just couldn't make videos...but, well, in the end...I'm back!

Now, guess many of you feel confused about the song. But before you start commenting things like “this is not the right opening”, “what’s with this song? It’s wrong!” please, read here CAREFULLY.
Italian openings have generally little to nothing in common with original openings. They are generally completely re-written by two Italian composers: Giorgio Vanni (who often sings the openings he writes) and Max Longhi. These two men are often charged with re-writing anime (but not exclusively) openings. The result is often a completely different song, which is usually used for the whole series (while, for instance, the Japanese anime keeps changing openings).
This one, is the first opening used for the Italian dub, and it was inserted from episode 1 to 53 and later again from 401 to 452. The length I used is the one used in the anime (not the full one), yet I decided to add a short part from the full version (from 0:24 to 0:39) as I liked it ^-^

A personal opinion about Italian openings? Vanni and Longhi’s adaptations are usually pleasant in terms of music. My main concern is the fact that lyrics are often rich of not much meaningful passages and grammar is often forced a little too much. Nevertheless, I really like them, and that’s the reason why I decided to upload some of them ;)
