हर इक शय से तेरा तअल्लुक़, अब भी मुझे क्यूँ भाया है।
आईना पूछ रहा है मुझसे, कैसे गुज़ारे तन्हा दिन,
ख़्वाबों ने भी लब सी लिए हैं, कैसा ये जादू छाया है।
ख़ुद को समझा कर थक बैठा हूँ, दिल है कि सुनता ही नहीं।
जिसने हर इक बात मानी थी, आज वो ही भरमाया है।
हम तो समझते थे महफ़िल में, अब कोई अजनबी नहीं है,
उठ कर जब जाने लगे सब, तब समझ में ये आया है।
शहर में भीड़ तो है लेकिन, कोई नहीं है अपना सा।
उस इक चेहरे की तलाश में, इस दर से उस दर धाया है।
ये काग़ज़ और ये कलम भी, बे-जान से क्यूँ लगते हैं,
जब से तेरी बात लिखी थी, तब से बस ग़म गाया है।
'नूर' नाम भी भूल गया हूँ, अब क्या ज़माने से डरूँ,
जिसने अपना सब कुछ खोया, उसने ही सब पाया है।
