50. Testing a new microphone and a newly discovered camera setting.

In this video, I confess failure (for now) on the 7mm-08 and move on to other jobs. Not as bad as it sounds since the plan has always been to replace that barrel. I just like to be able to find a reason for poor performance and I haven't been able to do that with this one.
I have gotten the replacement barrel for the Remington 700 (the one which got the undersize barrel). This barrel is the first I have tried from Hugh Williamson, of Calgary, Alberta. From what I can tell, these are very nice barrels, and I'm excited to work with them. This barrel is button rifled. The barrel looks to have been very smooth and consistent prior to rifling, and the lands are uniform. The barrel is very straight, which makes set-up much easier and adds confidence.
I got a new lapel mike, which I am testing in this segment. I have high hopes. WH
