In this short tutorial video I show you how to use a ceramic blade to create fur texture in your artwork. The Slice range of ceramic blades is just fantastic & since being introduced to them a couple of years ago I have never gone back to using a steel blade!
This is the first short review as I have several other different variations of the Slice to try. This actually forms part of a full tutorial on how to draw the cat from start to finish which can be found exclusively on my teaching channel on Patreon. This one teaches how to create fur texture using a method of subtraction, or lifting away pigment, instead of the usual addition of more layer of pencil.
