I had an HD-9 installed by an authorized dealer and they apparently forgot to adjust the locks so that they all engage at roughly the same time. This made the lift prone to coming down uneven, as one or more corners would get hung up on the locks unless you did it "just" right. The installers also failed to include the spacers behind one of the lock ladders correctly. It was just sitting loose behind the ladder, not on the bolt. Very glad I inspected and adjusted myself -- buyer beware on "professional" installers...
