Yes, it's true, the CM901 is a very poor assault rifle. I think it's the weakest and least useful weapon in it's class. While it does have very high damage and exceptional range, the rate of fire is very low. That gives it a very slow time to kill. Also the high recoil certainly doesn't help anything.
