Lord Howe Island is an amazing destination of world heritage listed sites, both above and below the water. On this visit we are merely stopping briefly to rest and restock prior to our bigger passage to New Zealand. But we take the oppourtunity to get a few or four dives in. As usual it is below the water that really interests us, and we spend 2 days diving the eastern side of the island. These unique waters although cool, dazzle us with their unique creatures, from Galapagos Sharks to huge crayfish, and beautiful fish. We luck out with the weather and when not diving get busy with our prep work for our passage, including making water, getting fuel top up and a little bit of fresh provisioning.
