ত্রয়োদশ সংসদ নির্বাচনে ৩০০ আসনে মোট ২ হাজার ২৬৫ জনের প্রার্থিতা চূড়ান্ত করেছে নির্বাচন কমিশন। এর মধ্যে ৫ জানুয়ারি যাচাই-বাছাই শেষে এক হাজার ৮৪২ জনের প্রার্থিতা বৈধ ঘোষণা করে ইসি। আর, মনোনয়ন বাতিলে ৯ দিনের আপিল শুনানি শেষে রোববার বৈধ হয় আরো ৪২৩ জনের প্রার্থিতা। রোববার সিইসি বলেন, আপিল শুনানিতে কোন পক্ষপাতিত্ব করেনি কমিশন।







The Election Commission has finalized the candidacies of a total of 2,265 people for 300 seats in the 13th parliamentary election. Of these, the EC declared the candidacies of 1,842 people valid after scrutiny on January 5. And, the candidacies of 423 more people were valid on Sunday after a 9-day appeal hearing against the cancellation of nominations. The CEC said on Sunday that the commission did not show any bias in the appeal hearing.
