MAJOR UNDERTALE SPOILERS

OKAY I LIED THIS IS THE LAST UNDERTALE COVER I DO

I mentioned this to someone who had asked me to do this cover, and I had said that I would only do it if the inspiration struck and I could find some kind of new angle to look at it from. And what I thought of was this. I had arranged this whole thing in my head before even laying down a track (which took like a week before I had the time anyway). What I hope to accomplish with this cover is creating a bridge between the absolute wall of guitar that RichaadEB had, the orchestration of FerdK's cover, and the heaviness factor of LittleVMills. And hopefully I have accomplished that, and I SWEAR NO MORE UNDERTALE I PROMISE THIS TIME

In terms of mixing, this was a goddamn nightmare. Trying to cram orchestra with an already dense metal mix with like 8 seperate lead parts is enough of a nightmare, let along have the track be 8 minutes long. But I am pretty happy with it anyway, and I think this is one of my favorite covers to date. The Undertale OST just did something to me that just pushed me to my limits and made me make some of my best covers to date. So to that I say, thank you Toby for this game.

When it comes to covers, I try to encapsulate the feeling I had when I first heard it in game. And when I heard these songs, I went from a feeling of "Oh, shit's about to go down" to "OH SHIT IS GOING DOWN" to "My tears are crying why are you doing this". So whatever emotion you get when you hear a cover of mine is a pretty accurate representation of how I felt in that moment, and music is beautiful in that way. I hope you enjoy it!
