Proof this still works in the new version. Sadly, not much can be gotten off this. 100 Dead Spirits can be gotten by transmuting Odin’s Card. These items can be turned into Death Magic (which you can already draw from Odin) or turn into Death Stone (which is pretty much useless).
What’s rare is the Luck J Scroll, you can get it over and over again (maybe 17 times if you want to use it on every GF and keep one). But, eh, it still works. It seems that whenever the timer ends in 0 while in a multi sequence attack that serves as killing blow to Odin, he cannot terminate you but after getting spoils you get the same message you would get after getting the timer to 0 while exploring.
