Happy Independence Day to all Indians. Happy Mother Mary's Feast too. On this day a traditional sweet is prepared by using turmeric leaf as a covering which is steamed, this gives a very good flavour to it. The jaggery used can be sugarcane jaggery or palm jaggery also called Goa jaggery.
