This Series 1 E-Type OTS (Open Two-seater) came from the factory with covered headlamps, triple SU carburetors, toggle switches, the larger displacement 4.2-liter, 265 horsepower DOHC Jaguar 6-cylinder engine, the close-ratio full-synchro gearbox, the improved braking system, and much more comfortable seats.

Built in October of 1966, it came off the Brown’s Lane assembly line in Coventry at the absolute peak of E-Type production - it has ALL of the desired features, and NONE of the later emission controls and safety changes that diminished the performance and the classic E-Type look and feel.

This is a “numbers matching” E-Type - the engine and gearbox are both original to this E-Type from the factory, and we have confirmed that with an official Jaguar Heritage certificate.

Restored by renowned Jaguar restorer Lloyd Gillespie, this one underwent a complete restoration to a very high standard. Since restoration, it has been lovingly cared for and driven only occasionally - the current owners estimate approximately 1,000 miles since restoration. It was recently gone over and serviced, with all systems checked and brought up to 100% - it is READY TO GO!

It is finished in the correct shade of Jaguar British Racing Green, with a Biscuit (light tan) interior. The fit and finish is excellent, and the car requires nothing for driving or to place in the top cars of any JCNA Jaguar show.

The car has a clear US title, and a Jaguar Heritage Certificate. We can help organize transportation throughout the US, or worldwide shipping arrangements. The car is currently located in Georgia, USA, and a personal inspection and test drive can be arranged.
