We met up with Jeremie at the Santa Monica / Venice curbs while he was on a skate trip with a couple pals. The Monster mag issue 152 from Germany where he noseslid the famous Venice hubba was shot by Helge Tscharn while on a Vans trip to California. We're stoked to have Fred Demard who ran Freestyler on hand to share his memories of issue 56 shot by Olivier Chassignole. Sugar issue 52 shows Jeremie doing a pivot fakie on the sundial in Paris on a vintage Santa Cruz board from the 70's. And on the contents page there is a sequence by Nicolas Malinowski of an early backside noseblunt slide in Lyon. A still of the trick wound up on the cover of ANY WAY magazine in 1992. We're still looking for a copyt of that one. Jeremie calls it B-Side mag and I came to learn that France had No Way, Any Way, & B-Side magazines all run by similar staff just with lots of name changes. Shout out Transworld. April 2025.
