They Said He’d Never Be Anything… Now He’s Our Herd Stallion | Day 16

Today we’re proud to introduce (or reintroduce) a very special member of our homestead—our amazing herd stallion, Bob.

Bob is a stunning dappled palomino Missouri Fox Trotter, born right here on our homestead. As a young yearling, Bob faced a heartbreaking challenge when he contracted EPM, a disease that nearly took his life. Through a long and difficult journey, we were able to save him—but the effects left him permanently lame, and he can never be ridden.

Even so, Bob’s story didn’t end there.

Because of his exceptional genetics, gentle soul, and naturally beautiful Fox Trotter gait, Bob earned his place as our herd stallion. Year after year, he continues to impress us by passing along his calm temperament, beauty, and smooth movement to his foals.

Bob is a true testament to resilience and purpose, and we’re so grateful to have him as part of our herd and our story.
