Couldn't find the words to say goodbye - Dave Sheriff and Porter Wagoner with The Jordanaires http://www.davesheriff.com. A song written by Dave about his late father who lost his battle with cancer at the age of 51 years. When he went to record the song in Nashville in 1998, Porter performed the duet with Dave, singing a specially written verse as if it was his dad providing him with answers - done in his own inimitable style. Backing vocals were provided by the legendary Jordanaires (Gordon Stoker, Neil Matthews, Duane West and RayWalker) and the session was produced my top Nashville producer Mark Moseley at Sound Control Studios featuring 'A' list musicians Hargus 'Pig' Robbins, Tommy Wells, Duncan Mullins, Mike Severs, Gordon Mote, 'Byrd' Burton, Pete Wade & Steve Wilkerson. The song is downloadable from iTunes, Amazon etc. and is featured on Dave's 'Live from Potters' DVD featuring the amazing Yamaha Tyros 4 keyboard - available from www.davesheriff.com.
