GUIDING STEPS FOR DS-160 FORM AND SCHEDULE OF APPOINTMENTS:
Step 1 – Prepare the Requirements
For a smoother and faster application, prepare the following in advance:
• Valid passport
• Passport-sized photo
• U.S. contact information
• Family details and other personal information
• Debit or credit card for paying the visa fee
Step 2 – Fill out the DS-160 Form
Go to https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ and carefully fill out the DS-160.
👉 Tip: Write down your application ID and SAVE your progress ALWAYS, because sometimes the site refreshes or lags.
Before submission, review all your details carefully. Everything must be true and correct because the DS-160 is the foundation of your application. A mistake here can break your chances.
Step 3 – Save and Print Your Confirmation Page
After submission, save and print the confirmation page. This is required during:
• Your biometric appointment at Parqal Mall, Parañaque City
• Your visa interview at the US Embassy in Manila
I also suggest printing your entire DS-160 form. This way, you can review your answers and make sure they’re consistent with what you’ll say during the interview.
Step 4 – Pay Your Visa Fees [ 185 US Dollars ]
Visit https://ustraveldocs.com/ to pay your visa fee.
✔ Create a profile using a valid email address that has not been used before FOR THIS WEBSITE.
✔ Keep your receipt number — you’ll need it to schedule your appointment.
⚠ Reminder: The consular fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Step 5 – Schedule Your Appointment
Log in to the profile you created and click “Schedule Appointment.”
You need to book two appointments:
1. Visa Application Center (VAC): For biometrics (fingerprints and photo). This must be scheduled at least one day before your Embassy interview.
2. US Embassy Interview: This is where you will personally face the Consular Officer.
Information you’ll need:
• Your passport number
• The 10-digit barcode number from your DS-160 confirmation page
Make sure your DS-160 barcode number is valid and correct, otherwise you won’t be allowed to proceed with your interview.
