The highest point in Australia
In this video we are walking to the top of mount Kosciusko. It all starts from the car park.
This was in April 2023. Just before winter. So the weather was not hot and not cold as well.
We left home from Sydney around 3 AM. The drive was around 8 hours.
Lot of people were doing the hike. Some were using bikes.
The path is a gravel road all the way. Only park vehicles are allowed to drive.
The landscapes are beautiful.
This is Seamn's hut. This was built in memory of two skiers who died in 1928.
We were tired. So we took regular breaks.
When we reached the top of the mountain we could see the clouds below us.
We took some rest at the top before starting our way back.
We had to hurry because it was getting dark.
We were staying in a motel just close to the Car Park. We can't wait to get to our room and go to bed.
