Conventional hull panels include two types of single curved panels and double curved panels. According to research and statistics of shipyards, about 17% of the ship’s hull covers complex shaped panels as double curved panels. The production of double curved hull panels, like bulbous, saddle and twisted shapes is really a big major challenge for many Shipyards.
