NIGHT FISHING AT WHITE HORSES PEVENSEY BAY - DO FISH BITE LEAST WHEN WINDS EAST?! (UK SEA FISHING)

So the only window I could get out was an easterly, do fish bite least when the wind is in the east? Or is it just an old wife's tale!?
