Swami Leelashah was a renowned spiritual leader of Sindhi Community. He was known for his deep spiritual insights and his commitment to social reform. Swami Leelashah played a significant role in promoting education and uplifting the underprivileged sections of society. His teachings emphasized the importance of self-realization and the pursuit of truth.

As a child, Swami Leelashah (born Leelaram) was cared by uncle Shri Pariyomal and aunt Samjh Bai as both the parents died in the early years of childhood of Swamiji. As the kid was showing comparatively less attention towards the academic activities, hence his uncle asked him to look after the shop and visit frequently market at Tando for the purpose of purchasing food grains. During that time, a severe drought had swept through the regions of Thar and Sindh. With a heart full of compassion, the young boy would distribute food grains to the poor and needy on his way back to the village from the market.

The physical world held little meaning for Leelashah. Consequently, he left home and began learning the Hindi language. Under the able guidance of Sant Keshavram sahib ji, Leelashah progressed on the spiritual path. Soon he become master of “Vedanta”. Besides that, he also gone through all other religious literature like Shrimad Bhagavat Gita, Upanishad etc.

After the partition of India, Swami Leelashah migrated to free India. It was under his inspiration that at various places like Ajmer, Agra, Godhra, Ulhasnagar and Adipur etc. various social welfare institutions like “Nari Shala” “Gau Shala” become functional.

On 4th November 1973 Swami Leelashah left the materialistic world for heavenly abode at Palanpur. A Memorial of Swami Leelashah was constructed at Adipur (Kutch) in Gujarat.

स्वामी लीलाशाह सिंधी समुदाय के एक प्रसिद्ध आध्यात्मिक संत थे। उन्हें अपनी गहरी आध्यात्मिक अंतर्दृष्टि और सामाजिक सुधार के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता के लिए जाना जाता है। स्वामी लीलाशाह ने शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने और समाज के वंचित वर्गों को ऊपर उठाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। उनके उपदेश आत्म-प्राप्ति और सत्य की खोज के महत्व पर जोर देते थे।

बाल्यावस्था में, स्वामी लीलाशाह (जन्म नाम लीलाराम) की देखभाल उनके चाचा श्री परियोमल और चाची समझ बाई द्वारा की गई थी क्योंकि स्वामीजी के बचपन के प्रारंभिक वर्षों में ही उनके माता-पिता का निधन हो गया था। चूँकि बालक अकादमिक गतिविधियों में अपेक्षाकृत कम ध्यान दे रहा था, इसलिए उनके चाचा ने उन्हें दुकान का ख्याल रखने और खाद्यान्न खरीदने के उद्देश्य से अक्सर तांडो के बाजार का दौरा करने के लिए कहा गया। उस समय, थार और सिंध के क्षेत्रों में एक गंभीर सूखा पड़ा हुआ था। करुणा से भरे दिल के साथ, युवा लड़का बाजार से गाँव वापस आते समय गरीबों और जरूरतमंदों को खाद्यान्न वितरित करता था।

भौतिक संसार का लीलाशाह के लिए कोई विशेष अर्थ नहीं था। परिणामस्वरूप, उन्होंने घर छोड़ दिया और हिंदी भाषा सीखना शुरू कर दिया। संत केशवराम साहिब जी के सक्षम मार्गदर्शन में, लीलाशाह ने आध्यात्मिक मार्ग पर प्रगति की। जल्द ही वे "वेदांत" के आचार्य बन गए। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने श्रीमद भगवद गीता, उपनिषद आदि जैसे अन्य धार्मिक साहित्य का भी अध्ययन किया।

भारत के विभाजन के बाद, स्वामी लीलाशाह स्वतंत्र भारत में आ गए। उनके प्रेरणा के तहत अजमेर, आगरा, गोधरा, उल्हासनगर और आदिपुर आदि स्थानों पर विभिन्न सामाजिक कल्याण संस्थाएँ जैसे "नारीशाला" और "गौशाला" सक्रिय हो गए।

4 नवंबर 1973 को, स्वामी लीलाशाह ने इस भौतिक संसार को छोड़कर पालानपुर में स्वर्गीय यात्रा की। गुजरात के कच्छ जिले के आदिपुर में स्वामी लीलाशाह की एक स्मारक का निर्माण किया गया।
