This feeding frenzy explodes in a kaleidoscope of colorful, melodic spring birds, featuring baltimore orioles, rose-breasted grosbeaks, gorgeous red-headed woodpeckers, and red-bellied also. The cardinal, northern flicker and the majestic pileated woodpecker also star as well as american goldfinches, house finches, hairy and downy woodpeckers, catbirds and several other species as they contend for a spot on my sunflower, suet, nyjer seed, and grape jam oriole feeders trying to establish a "pecking order."
