Transformers War for Cybertron is an awesome game that spawned awesome figures! Including the Decepticon Leader himself, Megatron. The Studio Series Gamer Edition Megatron pays homage to the game, but how does it compare to the original toy from the Transformers Generations line? It’s Megatron versus Megatron and Captain Kyle is the referee!

The Transformers War for Cybertron game introduced fans to alternative versions of their favorite Autobots and Decepticons but in Cybertronian vehicle modes. In the Transformers Generations line, many of these video game models were made into toys, including Optimus Prime, Sideswipe, Bumblebee, Starscream, and of course… Megatron. But recently new versions of some of these characters have been produced in the Studio Series line. These Gamer Editions are a bit different, and Captain Kyle compares both releases to see if they are good for your collection.
