Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume argues the federal budget “profoundly fails” Australians.
“It was a profoundly disappointing budget tonight, this is clearly a budget not for the next five years or 50 years, it’s a budget for the next five weeks,” Ms Hume said.
“It’s an election budget, pure and simple.
“This budget profoundly fails Australians to deliver more economic resilience and security and more national security.”
