In January 2003 I visited the makers of Yamaha guitars in Tokyo, and compared my Warwick Thumb Bass 6-string with the prototype of the Yamaha TRB JP2 which was in development at the time, as well as its predecessor JP1. In this video I recall the findings of that visit along with my own impressions having just received a new Yamaha TRB JP2.
