Our walk started from The National Marsden Moor Estate, Marsden, (which is next to Marsden Station) then proceeded up the Huddersfield narrow boat canal. The difficult tussock grass in places, made route finding harder to see.
Accessing Buckstones Rocks involved some steep climbing (about 1040ft vertical ascent with an elevation of 1514 ft).
After reaching Buckstones and observing the surrounding views, the return down joined the old pack horse route back into Marsden. Just managed before the heavens opened after fairly mixed weather.
