Some of my knives have rounded spines and are no good for scrapping fat wood, bamboo/river cane, or fire steel ferro rods. I have seen on the David West Channel he uses a angle grinder to put a 90 degree scraping edge on his. I figured a Dremel might be easier and safer. 2-3 minutes of grinding worked out good for me.
