ABOUT THIS VIDEO

SNOOZ and Yogasleep are the two main companies making white noise machines that contain real fans rather than recordings or digitally generated fan sounds. There are a couple of other models, but I think these seven are the main ones to consider.

If you listen with headphones or a good sound system, you're more likely to notice the sound of the motor with some devices. After listening to my recording carefully, I think the motor noise is accurate. When I use them, the motor noise does vary depending on the volume and tone you choose though.

I did not do any audio editing to the white noise track other than to increase the final volume for YouTube. Only my voice on a different track has some audio editing. Listening back, I think the differences in tone and volume between them seems accurate, so I hope you find it useful.
