Bergen line Norway: the scenic winter landscapes of Ål ~Music: Armand Amar

The not sharp scenes at the start of the video have been caused by snow, that was blown up by the speed of the train.

Part of my travel to Oslo, on Thursday 11 January, 2018. Left at 15:20 from Geilo, into the direction of Hol Stasjon (former video), Ål, Gol, Nesbyen, Hønefoss, Drammen, Oslo Central Station.
Attention: because of the speed of the train snow was constantly blown up and created often a kind of a veil (haze) between the camera and the landscapes.
Attention: the (new) used camera is in fact better for photos, not for films. I noticed that the focus of the filmed parts could be excellent for far away panoramas, but as soon a nearby building popped up, suddenly, the camera blurred the film, instead of taking automatically the right distance.

The railway opened from Bergen to Voss in 1883 as the narrow gauge Voss Line. In 1909 the route was continued over the mountain to Oslo and the whole route converted to standard gauge, and the Voss Line became part of the Bergen Line. The line is single track, and was electrified in 1954-64. The Bergen Line is owned and maintained by Bane NOR, and served with passenger trains by Norwegian State Railways (NSB) and freight trains by CargoNet.
