Destiny 2 Lore - Did the Nine Betray III? The Outer Orbits plan for Maya Sundaresh!

Destiny 2's Lore and Story from Edge of Fate introduces more of the lore of the Nine and tells us more about the division between the nine's outer orbits and inner orbits. This leads to the raid lore, which shows us that III might've been betrayed by the outer orbits. Regardless, the outer orbits also have a plan that involves somehow capturing Maya Sundaresh.
