Screenwriters: Struggling to Pitch a Great Premise? George Lucas' Handy Hints

Are you a screenwriter with a great premise that you're struggling to pitch? George Lucas had the same problem with Star Wars, and in a recent interview in Cannes he outlined the challenges he faced struggling to help Hollywood studio executives to visualise his story as he was trying to get people on board.

During the interview, George laid bare his frustrations about the lack of imagination in Hollywood, and explained how he couldn't have got Star Wars made without the help of a Concept Artist who drew pictures to match George's script as he wrote it. Without realising it, George just pitched a powerful case for why AI tools could actually SAVE Hollywood rather than DESTROY it.
